Furthermore, noise pollution is beoming and increasingly debated problem, and more aeroplanes in more areas can only mean more people suffering from noise. |

It is fuelled by the selfish demands of people for cheap foreign holidays which exploit people at those foreign destinations and impoverish the local holiday industry. Aircraft do appalling damage to the environment and this is encouraged by tax concessions of aviation fuel. Instead of taking foreign holidays, more encoragement should be given to people to vacation at home, take walking or cycling holidays, go on the canals (even better, help to restore them). |
