In the future we cannot simply jump on an aeroplane for a weekend away. It is a sacrifice that we shall all have to make if we want to survive. The government has to show strong leadership in this matter, even though, in the short term, it may not be a popular course of action. |

In my opinion the government should be discouraging people from flying by taxing aviation fuel and flight tickets whilst subsidising less environmentally damaging forms of transport.
